"Electronic Medical Records (EMR)"
Dr.
Agatstein has an excellent talk on the physician usage of
EMR. He will show you his EMR system via the internet as if
in his office. He has many practical applications and templetes
which create office efficiencies, save time and in the long
run money. EMR will be mandated for future usage, so be sure
to learn from a physician who has become an expert on EMR.
To further address EMR, we will have a few vendors to show
you their systems and features.
At the conclusion of this activity,
the participant will be able to:
1) evaluate the implementation
and use of an EMR system in your practice
2) view an actual office set up of EMR
3) assess the clinically-defined templates for urology and
review of a system
