Speaker: Jaime Landman, M.D., New chair of the Department of Urology at The University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Topic: "Contemporary Management of the Renal Cortical Neoplasm: Re-defining Minimally Invasive Treatment Options." Objectives: At the conclusion of this educational program, the attendee will be able to: 1) Discuss all available contemporary treatment options for renal cortical neoplasms. 2) Critcally review existing body of literature on treatment options. 3) Describe the novel approaches to kidney tumors and their role in contemporary practice. 4) Assess the changing demographics in the surgical management of renal cortical tumors. Accreditation Statement : The Orange County Urolocial Society is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Orange County Urological Society takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity. Credit Designation Statement: The Orange County Urological Society designates the educational activity for a maximum of 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
