Topic:
"Contemporary Management of the Renal Cortical Neoplasm: Re-defining Minimally Invasive Treatment Options."
Objectives:
At the conclusion of this educational program, the attendee will be able to:
1) Discuss all available contemporary treatment options for renal cortical neoplasms.
2) Critcally review existing body of literature on treatment options.
3) Describe the novel approaches to kidney tumors and their role in contemporary practice.
4) Assess the changing demographics in the surgical management of renal cortical tumors.
Accreditation Statement :
The Orange County Urolocial Society is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Orange County Urological Society takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity.
Credit Designation Statement:
The Orange County Urological Society designates the educational activity for a maximum of 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This credit may also be applied to the CMA Certification in Continuing Medical Education.

California Assembly Bill 1195 requires continuing medical education activities with patient care components to include curriculum in the subjects of cultural and linguistic competency. It is the intent of the bill, which went into effect on July 1, 2006, to encourage physicians and surgeons, CME providers in the state of California, and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to meet the cultural and linguistic concerns of a diverse patient population through appropriate professional development. The planners, speakers and authors of this CME activity have been encouraged to address issues relevant in their topic area.
